Obamacare Day
Here it is. Decision time. The day has come where healthcare as we know it today may change forever. I didn’t think I’d be this scared about it.
Don’t get we wrong, I really want changes made to America’s healthcare system, but I just feel that this bill was rushed and bullied through Congress so quickly that it’s going to end up being a horrible half-baked nightmare. It just seems like the President is foolishly using every drop of his political capital on this one issue. If it fails, it’s curtains for him. Which is sad, since he seemed pretty promising in the beginning.
Politics aside, my Spring break was pretty good. I worked 99% of it, but that just adds up to a nice extra cushion for my Austin trip. On the one afternoon I actually had off I just putted around Frisco and ate Swedish meatballs at Ikea. Boy, I sure know how to party.
A quick update on the Podcast situation. I do have a podcast in the works with a few friends of mine. We’re trying to think of a name, and I also need to buy a mixer board and some other equipment. We would like to get it started by next month.
Nasty “Female Human” Sarah Palin Quits
If you read my last blog pre-destruction, you probably know already that I really hate this nasty hillbilly inuit bitch known as Sarah Palin. She’s generally a horrible person. Well, turns out she’s a quitter, too.
The once sorta-on-top-of-the-GOP-political-world vice-presidential candidate gave up trying to make her beloved state of Alaska interesting today, resigning from her post as governor. She probably realized that her constituents don’t appreciate her trapising across the nation, with baby Trigonometry or whatever in tow, complaining about a joke made about her whorebag daughters by a funny old man on the CSI network CBS.
It’s rumored she’ll be retreating to her Wasilla lair, feasting on seal blubber and Schlitz while planning her 2012 presidential campaign. C’mon, Sarah, you could have at least stayed in office to look like you are capable of doing something productive. I mean, if you were that bored, you could’ve done some Mad Libs at your desk or something.
Now that we’ve got all of this out of the way, let’s continue on with our 4th of July weekends!
